but a general non recall fix on the 2015 63K you get nothing. now IMO you get to a conundrum when youre talking about a recall that gets issued for a vehicle that needs fixed and may take it off the road for a while.then IMO especially if its a safety issue and I lose use of my vehicle id expect a loaner also.even if it was that 2015 with 63K. lets say this was a 2015 with 63K miles on it and it just broke down and I needed it fixed but it had no warranty on it.then they owe me nothing id have to get a rental at my own cost. I dont think they would owe me anything on a non factory warranty vehicle or a older higher mileage vehicle. what do I feel they own me with a new vehicle thats still under the bumper to bumper? use of that vehicle i bought OR use of a rental/loaner till they can fix it. OR if its like this a issue they can not fix they should give me a long term loaner/rental to drive till they can fix it. letting me have a loaner till its fixed(short term). How I feel about it is paid off or not what should they "owe" me with a new vehicle still under factory warranty(key is new vehicle still under the factory bumper to bumper warranty.aka a 2021Atlas with 14K miles on it).they should owe me either fixing what I have so it runs and if that takes a day, 2 days ,3 days. oops sorry no parts and we know its unsafe and unreliable but just keep driving and or NOT driving it and paying for it we may fix it someday.or.maybe now we dont really know.
But that said I wont buy another VW and I was considering it at first when I was due for a new one.now it wont be considered(Tiguan) as I dont want to relive the Atlas fiasco or get told if something goes wrong on another one.
So based off this they want me to have patience and still be a happy and return customer? I mean they have lost us as a customer im just hoping to get to the point i can either get the Atlas running like a car with 14K miles on it should and be decent.OR get it running to the point we can ditch it and get something reliable. When are you going to fix said vehicle: Volkswagen.we have no idea How are you going to fix said vehicle: Volkswagen.we have no ideaĥ. Said vehicle shouldnt even be being driven as its both unsafe(if the airbags are not working right and the Ebrake comes on without YOU applying it) but this seems to be a mixed bag.as long as we have loaner vehicles you guys that get them just drive it and leave us alone.you guys that we didnt have one to give.just drive your unsafe/unreliable vehicleĤ. Said vehicle has a known issue a wiring harness you mis-engineered and makes vehicle unreliable, unsafe to drive: Volkswagens response: just keep driving it sorry but go away we have no answerģ. paid 38K for a vehicle i really cant safely or RELIABLY drive: Volkswagens response. Learned my lesson.never again I mean think about this.paying $37-45K on a vehicle.something goes wrong under warranty and within 10K miles of it being on the road and this is their response/how they deal with it:ġ. yup sorry no part go away now, thanks.be sure to come back to buy more 40K vehicles you pay for but cant drive in the future! maybe its related to the harness thing who knows. But I learned my lesson mostly due to the response by Volkswagen to the issue.which is a more or less. So we took a leap of faith and got the Atlas SE with technology om june-end of October we loved it then these issues started cropping up.now along with the door harness issue we started getting a key not in vehicle deal that lights up.even though the key is in it and the battery is brand spanking new.
So we went with the Atlas.Id never owned a Diesel vehicle in my life so that deal didnt scare me much.my friends that had had the cars said they were good/worked fine no complaints. we couldnt find or get the dealership to give us any time to have the mid level(like the SE with Tech package for the Atlas) model in stock in anything OTHER than Black or White. My wife was looking for a new vehicle in the end she liked 2 the Volkswagen Atlas and the KiaTelluride.we actually had seen a Atlas in the version and color she wanted.
